Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam! Upon arrival, freshen up at the airport and proceed for breakfast.
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing with a visit to Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi, where major cultural and political events of the city take place. Explore the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including:
- Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only, as it closes in the afternoon)
- Ho Chi Minh’s House-on-Stilts and his tranquil fish pond
- The iconic One-Pillar Pagoda
Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university and a symbol of education and Confucian tradition.
Later, enjoy a walking tour through the Old Quarter of Hanoi, with its charming narrow streets, and visit the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake (the Lake of the Restored Sword).
After lunch, check in to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a cyclo tour (traditional cycle rickshaw ride) around the bustling streets of Hanoi.
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Ninh Binh, located about 100 km south of Hanoi (approx. 2.5 hours’ drive).
On arrival in Hoa Lu District, visit two historic temples:
- Temple of Dinh Tien Hoang – dedicated to the only king of the Dinh Dynasty and Vietnam’s first emperor.
- Temple of the Le Dynasty – honoring the succeeding rulers who contributed to the country’s rich history.
In the afternoon, experience the beauty of Tam Coc – Bích Ðong, a popular tourist destination and part of the Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Glide along the river through limestone karsts, caves, and lush rice paddies, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery.
After sightseeing, return to Hanoi.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and at 9:00 AM depart for Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Vietnam’s most breathtaking natural wonders (approx. 3-hour drive).
The journey takes you through the Red River Delta, where you can admire lush green paddy fields, rural villages, and farmers busy ploughing with buffaloes or planting seedlings—a true glimpse of Vietnamese countryside life.
Upon arrival in Halong, board your overnight cruise to explore the magnificent beauty of this “Bay of the Descending Dragon”, famous for its thousands of limestone islets and karst grottoes.
- Enjoy a welcome drink and lunch on board as the cruise sails across the emerald waters.
- Visit spectacular grottoes and caves, stop for swimming or kayaking, and pass by floating fishing villages and uniquely shaped islets.
- Return to the cruise in the evening for a Vietnamese cooking demonstration, followed by a delicious dinner on board.
Later, you may take part in onboard activities or simply relax and soak in the serene atmosphere of Halong Bay.

After breakfast on the cruise, enjoy the morning scenery of Halong Bay as the boat gently sails back to the pier. Disembark and drive back to Hanoi.
From Hanoi, transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. On arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
In the evening, proceed for dinner at a local restaurant.

After breakfast at the hotel, begin a Da Nang city tour:
- Linh Ung Pagoda (Lady Buddha Pagoda) – Home to the tallest Lady Buddha statue in Vietnam, offering panoramic sea and city views.

In the evening, experience the magical lantern boat ride on the Thu Bon River, where colorful lanterns float across the water, creating a picture-perfect atmosphere.
Return to Da Nang.

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full-day tour to Ba Na Hills, one of Vietnam’s most spectacular mountain resorts.

Welcome to Saigon, Vietnam’s dynamic southern metropolis. On arrival, proceed for a city tour, visiting:
- War Remnants Museum – One of the most visited historical attractions in the city, offering insight into Vietnam’s struggle for independence and the impact of the Vietnam War. Its exhibits of photographs, documents, and military equipment reflect the resilience and sacrifices of the Vietnamese people.
- Reunification Palace – A historic landmark where the Vietnam War officially ended in 1975. Today, it serves as a museum and a venue for important receptions.
- Notre Dame Cathedral (outside view) – An elegant French-colonial cathedral built between 1877 and 1883.
- Central Post Office – Another colonial-era masterpiece designed by Gustave Eiffel, and one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Later, check in to your hotel.
Overnight stay in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City).
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense underground network stretching over 200 km, which played a vital role during the Vietnam War.
In their time, the tunnels functioned as underground cities, complete with hidden trap doors, living quarters, storage areas, weapon factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens.
Begin with a short documentary film explaining how the tunnels were ingeniously constructed and used. Then, explore the site and, for those who wish, experience crawling through a short section of the tunnels to better understand the extreme conditions faced by the soldiers.
Return to Saigon by afternoon. The rest of the day is free at leisure to relax or explore the bustling streets and vibrant markets on your own.
