Meeting at airport upon arrival by Office Personnel. Transfer to hotel. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is in fact two cities, Patan and Kathmandu. 

After breakfast, proceed for a cultural and spiritual sightseeing tour of Kathmandu:

Pashupatinath Temple

• One of the most sacred Hindu temples, dedicated to Lord Pashupatinath.
• Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, about 5 km north-east of Kathmandu.
• A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979, the temple complex includes temples, ashrams, inscriptions, and shrines built over centuries.
• A deeply spiritual place where holy sadhus (saints) gather and pray.

Bouddhanath Stupa

• The holiest Buddhist shrine in Nepal and one of the largest stupas in the world.
• A pilgrimage site for devout Buddhists, adorned with prayer flags and surrounded by monasteries.
• A serene and spiritual environment ideal for meditation and reflection.

Patan (Lalitpur)

• Known as the "City of Beauty," separated from Kathmandu by the Bagmati River.
• Famous for its rich architectural heritage and ancient masterpieces.
• Durbar Square: An architectural gem with the highest concentration of temples per square meter in the valley.
• Visit the Tibetan Refugee Center, home to a thriving Tibetan community and renowned for its fine handwoven carpets.

Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple)

• A 5th-century golden spire atop a hill, overlooking Kathmandu Valley.
• Decorated with colorful prayer flags and featuring the iconic painted eyes of Buddha.
• Offers panoramic views of Kathmandu city and is one of Nepal’s most recognizable landmarks.

After sightseeing, return to the hotel.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Chitwan – one of Asia’s premier wildlife reserves, famous for its rich flora and fauna. The drive takes around 5 hours (approx. 180 km).

En route, you have the following optional activities (at extra cost):

• River Rafting on Trishuli River – Experience an adrenaline-pumping adventure amidst the rapids. (Approx. INR 2000 per person)
• Manakamna Temple Visit – Pay homage to the Goddess of Fulfilling Wishes. Reach the temple by a 10-minute cable car ride. (Cable car tickets approx. INR 500 per person)

On arrival at Chitwan, check into the hotel and relax.

Evening free for leisure or you may explore the nearby surroundings.

Morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day of exciting jungle activities in Chitwan National Park – one of Asia’s finest wildlife sanctuaries.

The highlight of the day is the Elephant Safari, giving you a chance to spot rhinoceros, deer, monkeys, and if lucky, even the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.

Other activities include:

• Canoeing / Dugout Canoe Ride on the Rapti River – enjoy spotting crocodiles and water birds.
• Nature Walk & Bird Watching – accompanied by experienced naturalists.
• Tharu Village Visit & Cultural Program – witness the vibrant Tharu folk dance performed by the indigenous community of the Terai region.

Return to the hotel after a thrilling day amidst nature.

Morning after breakfast, check out and drive to Pokhara (approx. 180 km / 4–5 hrs).

Pokhara, at an altitude of 2,352 ft, is famed for its serene lakes and majestic mountain views. From here, the towering 25,000+ ft peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges rise dramatically, just 20 miles away, offering one of the world’s most breathtaking panoramas.

On arrival, check into the hotel. Evening free to relax by the lakeside or stroll around the vibrant local markets.

Morning Excursion to Sarangkot (Approx. 3 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Sarangkot (1,592m), the most popular viewpoint in Pokhara.

• Just 13 km from Lakeside, it is the highest sunrise viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak) on clear days.
• On the southern side, enjoy a panoramic view of Pokhara city and Phewa Lake.
• Sarangkot is also a hub for paragliding adventures.
• The drive from Pokhara takes about 45–60 minutes.

Afternoon Sightseeing (Approx. 3 hrs)

• Bindebasini Temple – One of the oldest temples in Pokhara, dedicated to Goddess Durga. Located in the old bazaar area, it offers a peaceful ambiance and Himalayan views on a clear day.
• Devi’s Fall (Patale Chango) – A striking waterfall that is especially impressive during the monsoon, as water gushes dramatically through rocks.
• Gupteshwor Cave – Located just opposite Devi’s Fall, this cave is famous for its stunning limestone formations. (Photography is not allowed inside).

Drive back to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel. Rest day at leisure on your own. Overnight at hotel.

Morning will be comparatively free and closer to the time of your flight, you will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight for onward journey.
